Church in Tellaro

The red church of Tellaro

This beautiful and brightly coloured church is in Tellaro, a tiny village clinging to the rocks just above the Mediterranean sea on the border between Tuscany and Liguria. It has been rated as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and rightly so. There is a little harbour where the locals still pull their tiny fishing boats up out of the water, and a beautiful covered alleyway where they then store the boats upside down - see this other sketch I made of it: covered Tellaro boat alleyway.

Available Prints

10"x10" - £29

Framed 12" x 12" - £100

Prints are made with archival inks on one of two papers - either 350g Hahnemuhle German Etching paper, or 290g. Hahnemuhle Hemp, a beautifully heavy paper with rich colours. Made with 60% hemp fiber, this is an eco-friendly paper. Hemp is a highly sustainable resource, historically used for papermaking. Hahnemuhle use spring water for milling, and the production of hemp paper does not require bleaching or chloride, making the process less impactful. Postage and packing will be calculated on checkout.
