I sketched this church on a cold day in December, sitting in front of the charming Barnet Museum. My notes, written in the corner on the day, say:
"Here since 1272, probably built in 1420 then fiddled about with by the Victorians in 1872 (Butterfield). The church of St John the Baptist with the Barnet Museum behind me, on a cold December's day. 8 - 12 - 2013"
